Island City Art Walk

Island City Art Walk was created 9 years ago as a means for artists and merchants to join forces and create Art+Commerce. Envisioned by the founder Mary Ellen Charapko, one of South Florida’s foremost curators, Island City Art Walk is now owned by Krishan Manners and Tony LoGrande, both of whom have extensive art and community vision.

The Island City Art Walk is held on a monthly basis and draws from local, national and international talent welcoming all mediums, from art installations, traditional painting, sculpture and photography to craft and jewelry. Wilton Manors’ Art and Entertainment District is growing with 7 galleries and numerous business sponsors through whose generosity and time we are able to sponsor artists, providing both a format and opportunity to present their work. The benefit to our visitors is a convivial atmosphere filled with eclectic shops, street musicians, innovative bars and many food options for every taste and budget. Most important, it is a time to connect with our artists, learn about their technique, inspiration and an opportunity to buy original works of art.

Island City Art Walk is growing! Last year we increased our artist/sponsors by 20% and our upcoming season is promising to be even more exciting.
