Island City Art Walk starts out 2009

The New Year has arrived and the weather is perfect for another Island City Art Walk. Visit Wilton Manors on Friday, January 16th, between 7 and 10 p.m. for the Island City Art Walk. More than twenty-five businesses will host over 35 fine artists along what has become known as The Drive. Some of the shops in Wilton Manors will offer after holiday sales and the local artists will display a variety of original works: paintings, photography and sculpture. An early dinner at Galanga or Sozo Sushi Bar is a must. Drop in for a glass of fine wine at The Naked Grape, or great coffee at Java Boys. Stroll down memory lane at To the Moon, where you will find your all-time favorite candy of the past. Check out the furniture, antique, collectible shops and art gallery. There is something for everyone. Join us for the fun in historical Wilton Manors, one of Florida’s premiere small town’s. The Island City Art Walk provides a free trolley, which travels up and down the one mile Drive, just wave it down and hop on. Participating business sponsors will be serving free refreshments.
