WILTON MANORS, FL, November 10, 2007 Art galleries and numerous
businesses in Wilton Manors will feature over 30 artists on Friday,
November 16th, 2007, 7-10 p.m. along the 1.1 mile Wilton Drive, known
locally as "The Drive."
The artists are hosted by the participating business. This cooperative
effort gives the artist a venue to display their artwork while the
businesses benefit by receiving more recognition from the visiting
public. The collaborative idea has benefited everyone which has made
the Island City Art Walk a very successful three-hour ³tour of the
town.²
Visitors can enjoy an early dinner in one of the Wilton Manors fabulous
restaurants and afterwards begin their one mile trek of ³The Drive,²
which is free and begins at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served in
many of the business locations. A free trolley service (Sun Trolley)
is provided for the evening, compliments of the official 24 sponsoring
businesses.The 3rd Friday of the month Island City Art Walk is organized
by Island City, Inc. The next
Island City Art Walk is on December 21st.

Parking is available at Hagen Park, Richardson Park, both located on Wilton Drive and the Wilton Manors Library on 26th Street and NE 5th Avenue. There is parallel parking along Wilton Drive, and throughout the neighborhood.
Besides traveling down "The Drive" the trolley also picks
up and drops off
at Kmart, which has available parking and is located on the corner
of NE 6th
Avenue and Oakland Park Boulevard (approximately 6 blocks north of
Wilton
Drive). The trolley runs between 7-10 pm.
